Due to the Covid-19-pandemic, so far our Strong beer Festival could not take place in the Paulaner Nockherberg as planned. An alternative date seems to be improbable because of the still existing contact lock in the state of Bavaria.

Vouchers for your tickets
For the above mentioned reason, we now change all orders into vouchers. The vouchers are valid until the 31st of December 2021. All our clients have received an email including a link to an online form where the vouchers can be retrieved. You haven’t received your email? What can I use the voucher for?
The vouchers can be redeemed in our wonderful beer garden or in our restaurant for our high quality offer on food and beverages. And when it is possible again, you can also visit one of our public events.

Can I switch to a reservation for the Strong beer Festival 2021?
We would be pleased to welcome you at the Strong beer Festival 2021. Please fill out the online form in any case and click the button for activating a pre-sale option. On request you can keep the weekday and table of this year’s reservation.

What happens after the 31st of December 2021?
If you haven’t used your voucher until the end of the year 2021, you have the right to ask for a cash out.

Why vouchers instead of a cash out?
The German parliament, the “Bundestag”, passed a law on the 20th of May 2020 for the “Reduction of the consequences of the Covid-19-pandemic”. In article 240 EGBGB § 5 the law regulates, that all tickets, bought before the 8th of March 2020, can be turned into vouchers valid until 31st of December 2021.

Why is this law so important?
In order to prevent event organizers from insolvency, the German legislation passed the above mentioned law. The consumer also gets protected through this law – in case of an insolvency they would not get anything otherwise.

Do I, in a special case, still have the right for an immediate cash back?
The German legislation has created a hardship clause in the law. Who financially is no longer able to pay for existentially important costs of living has to be cashed out. The situation needs to be described and must be proven towards the event organizer.

Why wasn’t there any contact possible in the meantime?
Our team was – and still is in huge parts – on short-time work. The situation is not to be confounded with home office. In the status of short-time work our employees do not have the right to still pursue their activities. The sad truth is, that the Corona pandemic causes catastrophic consequences for the gastronomy and especially for the event industry – worse than outsiders can imagine. To send our team on short-time work was without alternative and serves for saving our business and workplaces.

When will the vouchers be sent?
We will start to send out the vouchers on Monday, 8th of June 2020.

From Friday 5th of June 2020 on, vouchers can also be picked up on spot as well. Please fill out the online form at least one day in advance, because we need to prepare the vouchers.
